Hey guys and girls, I'm have a real big problem, I can't burn a DVD in XP even using 3rd party software!

I thought I'd try a system restore, but for some reason, that can't be done?!

I was messing around with the group policy settings a while ago, but have disabled/enabled everything to do with DVD/CD burning, back to the defaults.

What can it be, I know the drives are fine, OK one might be screwed but not all three at the same time, can anyone offer me any help?

    Regards
    GiGo

just try it with only one disc drive pluged in. Im guessing they are SATA disc drives and not IDE, if they are IDE then make sure the jumpers are in the correct slots.

If this doesn't work, try back here again :)

Cheers for the idea, but they are all fine. They read cd/DVDs fine, just won't copy!

    Anyone else?

Try deleting the Upper/Lower Filters (google it).
