    Hi Guys

Looking for a place local (cardiff) that sells Dynamat & Grey Cut (if that's what its called? the shiny metal sheet stuff used for flooring with sticky up bits). I went to focus last night but was to scared to ask if they had it incase I called it the wrong thing and looked like a n00b ;)

Would places like B&Q sell Dynamat or brownbread etc? Or would I be better off lookin toward car shops? I popped in Maplin yesterday but they didnt seem to have any bread.

I need to be able to drive there tonight at about 6:30, if I can get it both in the same place that would be a plus :D

Edit, it may possibly just be called metal plate?:p

    Many thanks

you could try audio shops like Richer Sounds, and you can fairly easily get it online.

er, I think 'metal plate' simply means thickish sheet metal, though I guess it might be a (stupid) trade name too.

remember that shops want to help (mostly) so don't be afraid to ask, or of having to explain.

I'd use the phrase 'acoustic damping foam'.

go to motorworld or any other chavvy car place, halfords might have some too, but avoid this place on sunday afternoons, the car park will be full of cavaliers and shoddy escorts with bean cans for exhausts.
    :hehe:

LoL :D To right, will probably stop off at Halfords and ask for some ''acoustic damping foam" would rather stay away from chavvy car places tbh, Halfords I'll probably be ok on a tuesday evening, they will all b in the mc donalds next door! Then onward to b&q for this metal stuff... I don't mind askin in there... focus people seemed a bit snobby ;)

    Thanks

    Edit: this stuff!
