"EA has yet to make a formal announcement regarding its plot..."
I'm guessing there's a problem in the world and you solve it with the magical healing powers of parkour.

I got mirrors edge from one of those bundles and loved it. Basically giving that away has made me want to buy ME2 when its out.

THey should definitely give away older titles to encourage people to get hyped for the follow up

Loved the first, not sure how they can expand/improve on it from a gameplay perspective though...

Never really got in to it to be honest... Do the players here who like it use M/K or gamepad?

Gamepad, making the rapid combinations for stuff like 180 wall jumps is awkward on KB/M and much more fluid on a 360 controller.

As someone with multiple top 100 placings on the time trial leader boards for the game (the top 50 or so usually rely on hacking the game in some way), I always used the keyboard and mouse, but I also use an uncommon key mapping. I play PC games with my pinky finger on the A button. (I think "pinky" is an americanism, you may know it simply as the "little" finger). This means the most dexterous finger on my left hand isn't stuck doing directional inputs, and I can bind actions to these buttons: RFVTGC. To my knowledge all the top players use keyboard and mouse because many advanced techniques (game engine exploits, not hacks) involve binding the jump and use actions to the scroll wheel to facilitate frame-perfect inputs.

I am beyond excited for this game, I put a lot of time into the original and hope to be a top competitor in the next.

I'm a bit disappointed they didn't bring Pratchett back, many people say the story for the original was crummy and they won't miss her, but few people realize that EA cut about 85% of the script she submitted so they could fast track the games release. That's why the story is so short and simple.

Ditto that; it's still one of my favourite games.
