Other Echo Spot and Amazon household

Has anyone attempted to get individual Echos to work for kids in their household? I have a Echo Input for music in the kitchen and that runs on my account and I do have amazon prime and a music subscription but it isn't completely clear how easy it is to set them up independently within a household.

I have one little used

 

I'm pretty sure mine all are linked to my Amazon account (head of the familly), then I've got voice recogition setup to change profiles to whoever is talking.
The youngest's Echo dot listens to everybody but is marked as a kids one (& has Amazon kids on the profile it for stories)
