    The ATI 5xxx series?

    Still power hungry when playing games, but very efficient when idle.

    on board lol.If your worried I guess you could underclock your GPU when not using it. ATM the ATI 5 series is by far the most efficient.

    Have a look at a recent graphics card review - the Staff have started taking power consumption readings at idle and load for comparison.
