Nice. I hope the games turn out to be...
*puts on sunglasses*
Unreal Tournament 3.2?
Talk is cheap.
and perhaps *gasp* innovation from Epic?
Five new games:
Gears of Battle
Spokes of War
Cogs of Conflict
Illusory & Illusory Contest
One can hope that we'll get something decent from them. But it's a "we shall see" thing for me at the moment.
I agree with everything he said. But that doesn't mean I'm going to like any of his games. It'll be interesting to see what they come up with.
My current sentiments are something along the lines of "where are the flying pigs?"
I'll believe it when I see it.
really hope for Unreal III (sequel to their unreal singleplayer series)
Unreal Tournament 4 (which should actually be 5)
If they make UT4 and f*ck me again, I swear I'll drive to their HQ and burn the f*cking place to the ground
UT is NOT to be consolified. You CANNOT consolify a game that can't even be played with a damn controller
Lol that's all I expect from them now.
And amen knuck. Someone really needs to plant a car bomb for these moronic idiots to get the message after what they did to UT.
Soooo... 5 games based on UT engine. Whoopie.
'That's not enough any more. That's pretty depressing. You don't want to see what happens to an industry where it's Call of Duty, Halo and Gears and no-one else has enough money to make any games any more. That's not a fun industry.'
Right, so the basic complaint is that everybody is spending so much money on producing mediocre games that they need stupid sales numbers in order to be profitable? Lets just ignore Torchlight, Minecraft, Amnesia etc which have tiny dev budgets but are wildly successful because admitting that good gameplay doesn't require huge budgets would undermine our business plan...
it should be UE4, not 3. It will be an upgrade.
It better be UT. UT2012 would be fine with me. Anything else is 'meh'.
Unreal Tournament please, and not some dumbed-down console crap a la UT3.
And if it's UT, it better be community oriented. UT was all about user maps and mods
