Is now the time that we will see a virtual Olympics? If so what games should be in it and what countries would podium?
Off topic I'm watching Aston Villa vs Wolves live on Wolves esports. Ezri Konsa vs Diogo Jota Just finished Aston Villa 3 Wolves 5 All for Acorns Children's hospice charity
I think mostly all sports and countries, especially team GB, a good lot of money going to NHS. Also raising money for the less fortunate around the world.
Clearly not worldwide sport, but a number of motor Clubs I compete with are now hosting virtual championships on pc/ps4 and xbox, as a gamer I've been quite enjoying it, what has been interesting is those that don't game who are quick in cars are annoyingly still good in sim games.....Arrrgh, thought It was going to be my moment. Some are having entry fees to donate proceeds to those that need it.
that suggests the simulators replicate reality closely enough to make real-world skills relevant! Interesting.
and alternatively those that dont race are surprisingly good against pro's, Been watching Jimmy Broadbent race against the f1 guys and it goes to show when all things equal, even the guy in his shed can be competitive.
