Don't know the proper name for it but I need an extension cable for the 8pin power supply to my motherboard. I have had a look around Maplin which have the 4 pin but not the 8.

Anyone know an online shop that are resonable in shipping for one of these?

    Thanks in advance.

Oddly enough, I spotted an 8-pin extension in my local PC World yesterday. It was £6.99 IIRC.

I went in my local PC World today and they were next to useless :( They hardly had any PC components at all. I will have a look at their website. Thanks

This is what you want, I think. Amazon, £3.85.

PC World are usually useless, but I pop in occasionally as sometimes they have some rather odd offers on. Like Flight Sim X (with addon pack) for £15... I think it was mislabelled, though, as several other boxes were labelled differently.

You are a star, that is exactly what I need. Many thanks. This will help me tidy the cables in my case :)

You're welcome. :) Do we get to see pics of the cable routing when you're done? :D
