Other Fallout 4 Mod - Fallout London, a mod nearly as big as Fallout 4!

I’ve had one crash.

Initial problems were odd flickering to the textures on the bank.

It’s also hard. For me this is a good thing because it’s only 12 hours or so.

I was doing a quest and came across Bromley College. I got headshot and killed by a guy on the roof so I thought “I’ll put it on very easy “

I then proceeded to die another 8 times lmao. I was determined. In the end I cleared it out and got some decent armor (10 damage resist) and weapons.

Loot wise the game is extremely tight. Thus why I was so determined to kill the aholes in the college. I came out rich, so it was well worth doing.

It also gave me Fallout 3 vibes way more than Fallout 4. The design of the interiors is quite complex and needed a lot more thought than FO4.

I like it. A lot. Ended up doing four 1 hour sessions so it’s pulled me in hard.

 

In fact I tell you where it took me back to.

Remember when you come out of the Vault in FO3 and head to Springvale? Springdale was it? And you come across the school full of raiders.

I’m quite sure this was all deliberate and I do genuinely think it’s very clever.

 

I had audio issues on the Home Screen but not in game thankfully. Judging by the lights on my Tag receiver pre amp it was dropping in and out.

 

I reran the install and it fixed it. Really enjoyed it.

couple of crashes, and the in game radio is a bit jarring as it jumps from sound bytes but really good.

 

I’ve not put it on yet.

like FO3 the ambient audio is veeeeery good and really sets the mood.

As I said it’s also way harder so I’m not confident enough with it to be distracted yet. It’s not like FO4 where you can just steam in and wipe everyone. They’re very clever…. As an example to this? The Raider types in the college are very clever. They will hide a lot. I died three times stupidly thinking I could just climb the ladder to the roof and blow them all away. But they just aren’t dumb. They will hide, and then as soon as your head pops up over the roof whilst you’re still on the ladder they will headshot and kill you.

Hence why I died so many times. I thought it had the same dumbass AI and ease of FO4.

 

Love the new dog, had a few hours of playing, all going well.

 

Beat me to it. Now see, I should have gone that way to begin with ffs. Instead I went the polar opposite, right into the hornet's nest. Seriously, I nearly gave up.

Going back that way and getting Churchill? completely different experience. The only reason I even so much as thought of it and not throwing in the towel was when I died and the loading screen said "Some parts of London are much more dangerous than others". Yeah, no chit Sherlock.

Doge is a badass and a godsend.
