I've almost mastered Back and Forth. This is the first time I've got the ball over the hill, and look what it does - so close! http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=962155 This game has taken may hours over the past day...
Wow, there were several points where I thought it was going to work... and then it just failed. How unlucky can you be with this game?
All i had to do to fix it was to take the second wheel off the bridge, but it was pretty spectacular nonetheless. That level was by far the hardest for me. Other people have some very elegant solutions for it though - how the hell do they come up with these ideas? (and I'm supposed to be an engineer)
It has a tendency to crash, but generally when it works, it can do a few laps before failing miserably
I made a machine with so much horsepower, it breaks all game laws of physics. http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=970289
I love some of the additional challenges people set - like not using any powered wheels whatsoever! Mars: http://fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=14708 Tube!: http://fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=3697
i see what ya did, wa connected em all so you could basically have the whole contraption unfold through the pack of balls and deposit the ball into the goal area....... but the game register it as almost too much force when it start, ie as in how the links break when theres too much presser on em, if you have a lil car fall of a water chain will tend to break that sorta thing, combine with the pressure of the balls broke the links, and since their all interconnected the game apparently cant handle that many different calculations at once when it breaks a thousand connections lol...... good job
Actually no, it's a big bulldozer, and it worked actually, till I added another 3 more wheels. Previous to adding those three wheels, it would push all the balls back up the hill and over the other side. I wanted it to go faster though, and connected 3 more yellow wheels, and that happened The end result is rather funny, though not what I was aiming for
Here's an alternative way to do something simple http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=996877 and check out this horse! I spent the better half of my evening on it http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=1003207
