Okay I have two pieces of my case that I want a mirror finish on, and I am fed up with trying to get it to turn out, so I am looking for someone willing to do the work for me.
ok, well, people arent usually that generous in giving out free work, how about telling us all what you've tried in an exact process. To get a mirror finish you need to sand down the case to the metal, clean it properly, wet sand it down, prime it in 1 coat, wet sand it down, prime again, snad it dow, prime again, sand it down, coat of colour, wet sand, coat of colour, wet sand it, coat of colour, wet sand it.... keep going until you get an even layer of colour, then wet sand it. Then clear coat it once, wet sand that, clear coat again and it should be damn near mirror finish. Oh and after that you might wanna try rubbing compound or even car wx to spruce it up a bit... dragon2309
If you arent willing to lose a few bucks, try a slow setting resin. You can get them in a nice array of collors and they are very reflective, make a nice wet look.
