Hey all, Im planning on a new case mod soon, bit want to put my water tubes through a carbon panel. To make them look better i was planning on using a male barb on one side screwed into a female barb on the other and then run the pipes off them on each side. Does a female barb exist, or will i have to machine one?
Female exist, but not in PC Watercooling circles - look to plumbing suppliers etc... eg: www.thorite.co.uk Alternatively, use a DangerDen Fillport, but replace the fillport's cap with a G1/4" barb... and using the Fillport's usual collar to secure it all in place.
Or, alternatively, you can use these from Dangerden. Won't look as flush as what I'm suspecting you're wanting, but you could secure it in regardless.
