    Ok,

    This is doing my head in, i've been going round and round with this and cant see a solution.

    Fetchmail refuses to download emails that the dns doesnt resolve on;

    output: "fetchmail: SMTP error: 451 4.1.8 Domain of sender address bev@XXXXXXXXXXX.com does not resolve"

    Right so I tried using the nodns flag in my fetchmailrc file... tried both;

    "poll XXX with no dns user XXX pass XXX"

    and

    "poll XXX with nodns user XXX pass XXX"

    Neither work.

    Obviously I have replaced "information" with X's

    Ideas?

    Well being the legend that I am, I sorted it.

    Recompiled sendmail with a tiny bit of modification so that it wont do its check_mail rubbish, but will still pass stuff to spamassasin.

    Nah took out the whole check_mail thing so it wont try and resolve DNS's but will still pass on to whatever else, and process the error codes correctly.
