This will be the peak of my modding skills so far this ultimate HTPC is a future project I plan to start when i get the tools I need!

But after a few designs i think ive found the one I like !!!

It curently is only in design stage the following 3D renderings give you an idea of how it hopefully will look.

Feel Free to critize ! :D

Looking good  I like the way the plexi stands proud of the case at the bottom, should make for some interesting lighting effects underneath! :thumb:

I like the idea of the vertical acrylic being both design accent and acting as "feet" too... very cool. I whole heartedly endorse this product and/or service. :thumb:

thanks mate the acrylic poking out of the bottom i actually never noticed it looked like "feet" didnt notice it was extruding that far thanks for pointing that out guys because it would be a good idea for the final product

now a design feature with a purpose created totally by accident

Looks very nice. The questions that popped into my mind were, space, and blow holes. If you use the plexi as feet then are they going to be solid all the way through? And if they're solid all the way through then that cuts down quite a bit of space. That will look really nice when its done.. if its not the size of the TV. :)

Nice job rendering! I'll watch your project log ( you're going to do one right!? :) ) closely as I'm hopefully going to be starting my own. ;)

if you used clear plexi you could change the colours either by ccfl or leds, You could mix the colours also depending on your mood.

I like the blue better, also wouldnt having all of the fans on the back ruin the airflow? I would put on on either side and simply cut your grill into the wood to hid them, but thats just me.

Is uv reactive plastic avaliable? Not green but clear under normal light? That would look good.
