Windows finding my i.p address

    can somebody please tell me where i can find my i.p address so that i can get someone to connect to my q3 server please

    start menu \ run

    type in winipcfg.exe

    Select yopur adapter name
    click renew
    click ok

    good little utility.

    Watch out though, if you are on a home LAN it will only show your DHCP assigned address(the one assigned yo recognise it in the LAN).

    so now i got my i.p what my port? or how do i find it? or do i even need it for a game of q3 with my mate?

    when you create a server or go to specify it should be default unless you change it
