Yes, thats right.. another great mod for Half-Life :)

RC2.5 shakes big massive sticks at 2.4 for sure!
Gone is the pants netcode and dodgey freezing, which saw you having to guesstimate when to shoot on target, and when you shoot 5 metres in opposite direction!

I'm pretty impressed with it now... and for the moment playing it more than CS, due to the greater realisim, and because its a change really!

go get it now, and have a bash!

    missing textures

by the way, to cut down on the size of the release, they excluded a whole bunch of textures... so depending on your videocard / driver combo, you may or may not be affected by this.

at any rate, you can grab the full texture .wad here from http://dl.fileplanet.com/dl/dl.asp?planethalflife/firearmsworld/misc/firearms_wad.zip - just put it in your half-life/firearms/ directory, replacing the current .wad file.

    Firearms, FA, is pretty cool.

You have objectives such as retreive a key to get into a locked SAM site, or teritorial control and such like. There's enough veriety in the maps to keep the game fun till at least the next release.

If you fancy a spot of jumping out of planes, helecopters or even high buildings, either with or without your parachute, then this is the MOD for you. Not to mention more realistic guns and grenades than you can shake a monkey at. Does bleading to death sound fun, because you ran out of bandages? What about stepping on a claymore mine and be in two places at once... rather messy.

Oh, by the way, you'll want to press your 'use' key to open the 'chute, else you'll be going 'plop'. :)

    Gowan, have a bash!
