Well, i took a junker Generic case (Surplus from work) stripped off the Beige, custom cut the side, top, bezel, and more... Added custom switchbay, lighting, etc. etc. Autopainted the thing in my garage to a mirror finish, then put in one kick ass all in one system...
    Looky Looky
    [IMG]
Before the final buff on the side, but check out the Mirroring on the top...
Top Down of 120mm 120V Exhaler

Shaky, i know, but I can't even find my Tripod.

Kinda dark shot, only one interior light on, and no flash

Like the Power, Drive-activity, and Network activity trio down the middle?

Went from no front cooling to dual quad LED 80's on a 7/12 switch

Little black cathode to make some stuff Shine and glow... (including CPU fan)

    Any comments???

    looks sweet right now,

i love the pink insalation in the background, nothing like a high 'R' value to bring out the blue and black in your tight case :)

nothing like my unfinished basement to have a mod-shop...

Can't afford drywall or panelboard, Damn computers are too expensive... Plus if I need extra cooling, I just start removing the insulation... INSTANT FREEZER (The outside temp where I am now is about -12C or so...(Damn near 0F)

no it works for me, most of my pics are from my work shop which i have never but any wall borad up, why waste the time and money, i like the pink walls, it scares away my nazi anti-noise neighbors, they hate it when i decide i need to rebuild or shape meatle at 3 am in the morning, i cant help it if i work graves and am up at this time. I built my house first, when they were out here looking at the land, i told them that i work on my trucks at weird hours, and they build right next to my work shop, the dorks. the best part of it is, they built in the lowest part of the valley, and now they have had to put in 3 pumps to keep the basement dry. too bad it dont work good, every time it rains good they have to take out all the furniture in the basement/gameroom ha ha ha ha dumb asses. :naughty:

    ot vell

    back on target,

the case looks great, and the paint job is out fu(king Marine Corp standing! sharp shine on the top :) :wallbash:

It's built to Air Force spec... At least for an Air Force Sgt... He was in Kuwait for a while too, now he's in ??????? He'll probably tell me when he gets back where he went, but right now I don't even think he really knows...

Oh well... it's for a good friend so I put in all the bells and whistles...

Why post huge pics "56k beware" if your server can't handle the bandwidth?

I think that a translucent sheet behind the cutout + lights would get rid of some "in case clutter"?

What I mean by that is the drive cage....I guess that you could just paint them black so they dont stick out so much...

Yes, Unfortunate that the Drive Cage is visible... it's not really pretty, Actually, it's getting the aluminum tape treatment... Found some aluminum trim tape for repairing cars that's wide enough to cover without seems... Tried it on another case just like this and it looks l337, Nice and shiny...covers the extra screw slots nicely too... but thanks for the input... I have to do this quickly, as he will be getting delivery this weekend. Lots to do, NO time to do it... Such is life.

Ah yes, such is life. Very nice...I think that AL tape just might do the trick on it = ) Keep up the great work!
