ok i got some of the wall case from a friend to build my new comp. finally put it together and realized this thing had very little air circulation. so i figured since i'm too broke to water cool, let try and blow as much air in this thing as my PSU will let or till i like the numbers. starting point not pretty, and the blue stuff on the side panel is painters tape, i'm marking a design for side panel window. got some scrap sheet metal and fashioned a bracket to hold an extra 120 mm fan i had to fill the drive bays. i wanted something like this but i'm in the us and couldn't find one that fit 3 bays. mine is pretty cheap but i thought it was great for a first try quickly found out that this was just too flimsy for me so i got a piece of acrylic and hacked away took some extra sheet metal to support the fan in the bay and here you have it here is how it looks with the front back on my future plans are to remove the door skim the door hinges and bondo the front panel flat, cut out the bottom 120mm square and metal mesh both slots. the case is now cool to the touch and i'm happy. probably stay with my idea of plexi window over mesh because i like the air flow. w00t
I like your idea, what about a slighty smaller fan (40mm) or so to go in the 2 3.5 inch bays, even if you have your HDDs there, it will help sool them, aslo for every fan you have blowing in, have that many fans blowing out, or a lot of holes on the opposite side
i like it however i would cover it with modders mesh and mount it flush with the front. also rather than having exhaust fans if you were to drill holes (in whatever design you fancy) it would be cool
if u want better temps take one of those fans and make some ducting for it. so it blows outside air right onto the cpu
