Modding Fixing bad anodisation?

    Not really computer related (Actually they're parts for an air rifle), but I thought you lot would be the best people to ask :)

    I got a couple of items made, anodised in black. Unfortunately the guy who made them didn't do too good a job on the anodising (I think it was just a home job). Is it possible to get it re-anodised better, by a professional, or once it's been done once, is that it? Will I have to get him to make another set in just plain aluminium?

    its easy to strip the anodising and have it re-done. Its harder though to get a good job. Professional anodisers aren't that good (having used a few myself) - I would look for someone who does it @ home - but that knows what they are doing. Check out the forums @ caswellplating.com ;)
