After spending all afternoon swearing at Lightroom trying to consolidate things into a single library (just give up now), I've finally gotten it into a state that I've deemed close enough. Anyone know of a good automated/automate-able backup solution? The kicker: I just want to back up the folder, not the whole drive (or else I'd just use SuperDuper!, which I already have and use for my boot drive backups). Ideally it would be something along the lines of Aperture's "Vault" system, but I can't find anything that's even remotely close.

All I'm really looking to do is push out new/changed files from one folder to another. Doesn't need syncing or anything fancy (in fact, I don't want the folders to sync - that could create new problems!). I can't find any way to do just a specific folder in SuperDuper! (either to another folder or to a disk image; I don't care which), just the whole drive which is both more than I need and more than I currently have space to do.

If you're going to say 'rsync', then tell me how to set the thing up. I've never had any luck with it. And quite frankly, would like something a lot more user-friendly.:wallbash:

    Thanks

By the sounds of it a basic folder action would be ideal.

I would imagine it would be as simple as 'see new/updated file in folder a, push a copy to folder b'.
Haven't touched them for a while and it would be dependent on your OS version but an action like that may already be built in.
