^^I never watched any of those cartoons. Looking back as a jaded old cynic, every one of those US/Jap cartoons was a charmless attempt to start a toy craze.

While it's not a cartoon series... it's beyond epic.

There is one I have been looking for for years, but cannot remember the name of it for the life of me. It was dreams against nightmares. Cartoon series, '90s, the main bad guy was a massive purple daemon/dragon and wanted to destroy all dreams so that nightmares were all that people had or something like that.
    Any ideas?

    FOUND IT! :D:D:D

Bob the Builder wouldn't be the same if it had jobsworths like Dai Station in it, demanding to see Bob's CSCS card and asking why he has unmanned site equipment speeding all over the place.

First off Gunsmith, it's what I grew up with. Never said it had to be in my pre-teen years, and Fragle Rock was even older than I. Just fond things I remember in my earlier years. What about Bugs Bunny and Tweety show? Or The Flintstones? Both started before our time and were still part of our youth. I have seen many examples here that were in the mid to late 90's. So check your tongue. You talk to the kids from the "90's" and most have never heard of my references that didn't come before youtube. So yeah that ticks the Nostalgia box. You telling me you don't remember any of those?!? So I stand firm by my decision and enjoy these and all the other choices that people have made. But if you feel so compelled to detract from what others have enjoyed, by all means please continue and Have a Great day!

Cheers Gunny. I had actually found it in the time between posting and editing my post, during which you posted the answer :D

I spotted something while shopping yesterday guys. In Morrisons (but also presumably elsewhere) they have DVD's dedicated to specific warner cartoon characters pretty cheap. 2 hours of Tom and Jerry for a fiver? :D
