Didn't realise Hunt: Showdown was from Crytek, I honestly thought it was using pre-made assets when I saw it one Youtube.

As for Cevat leaving Crytek, rat, ship, sinking.

I never understood why, after being saved by investors they didn't put out another crysis game. Instead they put out that awful roman tech demo thing, rather than a sequel to their most popular IP.

Personally I'm thankful they actually try and create new games instead of another Call of Duty.

The Crysis IP is owned entirely by EA, they took it off Crytek as part of the funding deal for Crysis 2.

Crytek should have just pulled the plug when both Ryse and Homefront Revolution went horribly wrong.

Meh, never thought much of their games anyway, glorified tech demos in my opinion.

Probably for the better. A new CEO might actually take the company in the right direction and away from EA.
Crysis always was a tech demo to show off the engine and done so brilliantly but the company needs to do more.
The fact they own free radical and are sitting on am IP like timesplitters. I really want a new Timesplitters game :(
