We use freewire here at uni (gives pretty much all freeview channels), it's live though so you have to have a TV license....
I eventually went to create a thread about this. It was posted in the wrong forum actually, and it's still there. I was asking for broadband sources and the thread ended up with a steady stream of sites to get all kinds of content. It is a list that you really want to have.
