@the Alien, lol, yes Lots of lighting, lots of red, and possibly white, was thinking for cathodes a mix of red and white, still undecided though, but lots of red.

@eldar, thnx :), cant wait either.

I continued to polish some other parts in the case, like the motherboard tray...and it came up pretty good, i was quite impressed, took some pics too :)

The alu is different once again and the board is only 1mm thick.

And I also continued on the top panel , and cut the rest of the acrylic out, and sanded and polished the edges too, the got to work on the polishing, and it was during this polishing session i discovered something...

    Top Panel

What I have discovered is that im not rubbing the alu polish in enough and thus its not warming up properly, and this is leaving a smokey effect, but after a few hours of polishing i started to notice it more and more so, the more i rubbed in the alu polish the better it got, to a mirrored effect, its not like a mirror but its alot better than before, and so i'll continue to do this on all other pieces, so my hand polishing contuinues and once im done ill have better shots ready for previewing.

Well, has been an interesting one today.

After polishing up the motherboard tray to a spectacular shine (you really have to see it in person, the photos dont do it justice), i was annoyed with myself, because i couldnt get the front /top/side panels the same and today i tried again, determined to get it the same, i failed, but its shiny, very shiny, very very shiny, maybe my prep work is a bit out, but none the less, hand polishing is what i prefer and im now happy with how the top and front panel have turned out.

Tomorrow i fix up the other panels aswell.

I honestly cant tell the difference between Flash On and Off, in this instance i think i achieved my goal for a great shine :)

I still have the floor of the case to polish and the base where the feet are, i should be finished by the end of the week with the polishing, and by mid next week the case should be completed...fingers crossed.

Polishing up really well! This case is going to glow! It looks like you won't need the reflective backing on the plexi anymore.

edit:Is that a kill-bot I see in your house window?!
