  1. first post shocker
when you see stuff like this its just gotta be a simple inspiration to go make something yourself . theres plenty of mods on here that are like :jawdrop: but this one made me sit up and take notice. for instance if i hadnt have seen this mod i wouldnt have just chosen between two houses i was gonna buy on the grounds that one has a purpose built workshop in the garden. once i get the house itself sorted to my better halfs liking , i can then concentrate on reducing my computers to the smallest possible pieces with an as yet unbought dremel/powertool combo. then assemlbing them back in wierd abstract shapes. so if you see this one G-gnome fella , thansk for the inspiration . didnt need a 4th bedroom anyway........ :thumb:.

I just joined the forums after a couple of months of being an observer and I thought that one of my first posts should be to compliment G-gmone on the work he has done so far and say that I look forward to seeing the end result which I am sure will be jaw-dropping amazing.

Well G-gnome said that earlier, but I don't tell you to search it through over 60 pages in Part 2 Topic ;)

So if I remember well it would be one of those switches at the bottom of the front panel.

BTW. I didn't congrat. You G-gnome so far, so I congratulate You such a great work You are doing there. Great job! :thumb: :D Keep on modding :dremel:

Yeah, the vandal switches are backlit such that the power and ?reset buttons are white-lit and the others are green-lit.

I agree you have to be pretty keen to look through the 90+ pages betwee all the updates but if you follow the links on page 1 you'll get most of your questions asked.

(Can anyone else use the forum search atm? I can search for posts by particular modders but not by content keywords. I've tried on large and small threads, obvious and obscure words.... - one for the admin i think)

Yes, this definately isnt dead. He has said many times that it takes him a while between updates because he does such a thourough job and he only likes to show finsished parts. Plus he is busy as A13n0rma1 said.

Even if its not officially dead, it might as well be. How many weeks has it been since gnome has said anything about and ETA for the finish time? And how long has it been since he has actually posted? Its been like 6 or 7 months since he actually started this project, and if I were him, it would be painful to actually finish it after this long.....

wow! don't you all have anything better to do than bug a BUSY man? you should feel priviledged that gnome is even sharing this masterpiece with us all. All the whining about updates in this thread is petty and does no one any good. if you can't wait for an update then browse through the workmanship of the other "god" level modders on this site that have been able to find the time to work on there mods and pacify the needs of the masses. I am officially unsubscribing from this thread due to the impatience of others.

Keep up the great work gnome and thanks for sharing!

G-gnome I dont now much about water cooling and I read that this is your first atemt at it, but i was wondering why it is connected in series insted of parallel, the block proseding the first one won't get cool as much. I just noticed this when I was looking a your plans.

there apers to be two water blocks in this diagram. so i was also wondering if you are cooling the chipset or the graphicscard on the second block, if its the chipset then I supose this whouldent matter so much because the chipset dusent need that much cooling.

Thanks for your time. Im realy looking forwould to the finished artical

i remember vaguely that the answer to that is in one of the update - go to page1 and open the links there, it'll be easier. otherwise use the search to find g-gnome's posts in the whole thread - there are relatively few of them.
