John Riccitiello, aka Mr I dream of being able to charge players $1 to reload in game, Project Ten Dollar and Limited installs per PC CD Key.

Nobody should be surprised, I hope they go out of business and the vulture capitalists who bought out Unity and took it public lose their investment. They appear to have backtracked on the decision as of yesterday, but I stand by my sentiment.

To make this even shittier, Unity have removed the text that says you can stay with the ToS from the version of Unity that your game was built on as long as you don't upgrade it, and have now backported these fees!

Even game studios that don't usually do social media have posted on social media that their game is delayed while they learn/port to another game engine.
