Will this be like the i-series where the 'spectators' can't go around the gaming areas? I'd love to go to a LAN event like this, but as I dont have a small (well, it's small but I dont have a car and it's too big for a backpack!) gaming pc, I cant go as a player :wallbang: It'd be great if I could just go about and see what people have in their rigs and just to have a chat about building a mini rig!
It's a small LAN, usually ranges between 30-50 people, so there is no seperation of gamers and spectators. Heres how it usually looks set up: We get a fair amount of guys n gals from the Hexus forums along aswell.
I wouldn't rule it out, but usually it's just one of the attendees organising a Fifa tourney and putting up a small prize like a game. The LAN is casual, so no sponsorship from any tech/game companies. Everyone comes to play a few games, chat, get drunk and have a good time. I've been going for 4 years now *(actually, i believe I'm in my 5th year now), and only missed out on the last one as I got roped into house-/pet-sitting the day before the dates got announced.
