Hi, im looking for games that will run on a 486 laptop, eg commander keen series and doom etc. I suspect these would be shareware so this thread will not be about doing illegal things  . Would be much easier for me if these would fit on a floppy disk as it doesnt have a cd rom drive. It is running windows 3.1. Need these asap so any help very much appreciated.

Ultima VIII: Pagan is a great game and ran on my 486DX 33MHz back in the day

it isnt much of a fan of windows though, at least i cant get it to run in XP

the official quote for C&C is 66MHz i believe but it ran on the 33MHz as long as i didnt watch the cutscenes (reboot)

Hey, man - the site you linked to is one consisting of illegally distributed copies of games. A quote from their site:

"We believe that providing games that have been abandoned by their publishers, while technically illegal, is a valuable service to the gaming community because these games are in danger of disappearing into obscurity, and their copyright holders no longer derive any revenues from them."

In accordance with the forum rules, please refrain from posting such links in the future.

    Thank you.
