Windows gaming brightness

    ne1 know of a good program to help with my problem of my monitor being rather dark (and yes, brightness is full)
    the monitor is a iiyama 454 19" and wen playin games, everything is quite dark even with highest brightness settings :(

    powerstrip, or your gfx card properties :)

    if you're talking about Half life, make sure the gamma in the game is on high too (cos it caught me out) :)

    cheers rtt, noticed the gamma thing on hl/cs b4, :) dark screens are my excuse for losing on cs, wot will the be now :sigh:

    my gfx card is acting weird..

    I set the brightness to a reasonable level....start HL and it defaults back to the Hardware settings. I'm sure it allowed me to keep the settings into HL before.

    Anyone?

    powerstrip is very good, but I cannae be arsed with lots of little proggies on my comp, so I just use the grafix card settings.... and adjust my gamma up to about 1.4 for CS
