Hello, I know this seems to be a common problem (from google'ing) however Microsofts advice doesn't help, and I can't find any examples of peopel getting round it. Basically bought gears of war about a month ago, installed it on PC, no problems, all worked fine. Then set up same PC to work in Raid, so reinstalled it on same machine (raid being the only difference) now after installation it says wrong cd inserted, even if I put thr cd in and auto run, then try and start from there. After looking at microsoft website I have disable 'fast switching' for users, didn't make any difference. Does anyone know a way around this? Just to clarify its a bought version, it was working... its not from a torrent, or a copied dvd or anything like that, just a genuine version that isn't working anymore with what seems to be a common problem. I've read that numerous reinstalls doesn't seem to fix the problem, and as it takes ages to install I'm wondering if theres something I can do to avoid trying this. Cheers for any help, Dan
After trying a few more things I did that, but then I found I couldn't log into my windows live account, and began wondering if the two things were connected...
Hey, yeah I can't switch RAID off as its from Mobo and partitioned into system partition and games partition. I'm wondering now if its because I've installed Nero and its running from a DVD burner.... I'll try taking it off and having another go
