    Evening all!

Right I'm looking at getting back into a bit of gaming.
Its been a while so I'm out of touch on everything!

I will have a budget of around 200-300 quid, ive managed to clobbering together a few bits, So far I've clobber together ... 128gb SSD Sata6.0 &... 1 x Core i5 3470 and a shabby case/PSU. So fair bit to get.

    EDIT:
Should have read the rules... Here it goes.
    Budget: £200 - £300
Yes its on the cheap haha

Main uses of intended - build: Occasional Gaming
Nothing to hardcore just a couple of hours a week, would like it to be smooth with some decent graphics but not bothered about having stunning HD quality.

    Parts required:
Everything apart from Hard Drive, CPU, Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse

Previous build information (list details of parts):
    128gb SSD Sata6.0
    1 x Core i5 3470
22' Widesceen Monitor with HDMI input.
    Keyboard/Mouse

    Storage requirements:
The above HD will Do :)

Will you be overclocking: yes/no (delete as required)

Any motherboard requirements (no. of USB, Xfire/SLI, fan headers):
Going to need a cooler for the CPU as the current one wont cut the mustard.

    Extra information about desired system:
Will consider second hand parts as long as there working haha, Dont want to spend a fortune just to get back into it just incase!

What do we think?? New stuff or Old?
    Cheers
    Statey

Yeah not bad. I would take that deal and sell the i5 3470 and the hd5870 and get a better gpu then you should be set. Those comparisons on the CPUs are kind of misleading a bit... since they didn't seem to take into account that you can OC the 2600K to improve it's performance even more. The stuff related to the igpu is pretty much irrelevant so the i5 looses some 'good' points there too.
