Hey all, my first post here. Thought I'd share what my girlfriend and I did to her computer. I painted the black, she painted the nice mural. Other than that, no fancy electrical work or crazy windows or lights... just some sweet paint.

wow, the VanGoghe-ish mural is reall cool. It might also be neat to see it wrap around the edges a bit :D

no, see, it IS Van Gogh...not van gogh-ish. in any case, it rocks. I'm also building my girlfriends computer, lots of pink, lots of purple, and small and cute.

but i like the way hers looks, i think mine would like it too....hmm...*steals idea*

You and you’re girlfriend are very talented. You laid down a nice piece of canvas for you’re girl to express herself on. Did she use acrylics? Let’s see the pink/purple case.

Yeah, she used acrylics. I sanded and primered the panel for her, and she did her thing. Then we clear coated it. The paint is actually pretty thick in places, so it looks cool.

I really like the “Art on Case” look. You two should start a home business, put up a small website and make some money. Does you’re girlfriend do other expressionist era painters? Did she use a pallet or brush? Will your girlfriend accept a commission?

I think it becomes illegal when you try to pass it off as an original…

I dont think its illegal when the artwork in question is millenia old and the artist in question is several generations dead ;)
