Hi, didnt really know where to put this, but here goes.

I'm looking to buy a long 50-100m spool of Gigabit Ethernet Cable, and wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations for a good e-retailer.

    Cheers

    Search Amazon for 305ft spools of Cat5e / Cat6

    Cat5e will be about ~£30, Cat6 ~£80

Try to avoid random ebay Merchants. I've had cables that are marked as cat5e but aren't up to the standard. They only ran at 100mb rather than 1Gb on my gigabit switch. The cable itself was also flimsy and fell apart within a week. Admittedly, they are only about £1.50 for 20m or so... Just a note of caution.

I imagine the first one is a thinner cable than the second, both of these are copper clad aluminium (cheaper but not ideal) the last is solid copper, which is much better and more likely to give gigabit
