    Hi all,

I just got a Gigabyte M34WQ and can't seem to get the KVM switch to work with my work laptop (Microsoft Surface 3)

    • My monitor is connected to my desktop using DisplayPort
    • I also have the USB B cable running from my PC to the monitor
    • I have a USB C to C cable running from the monitor to the laptop - this charges the laptop
    • My keyboard / mouse are connected to the desktop and work fine
The built-in monitor speaker is working and my headphones are connected to the monitor, also work. This means that the USB B cable is fine.

When I press the KVM switch, the laptop shows an error message saying that the DisplayPort is not working.

Do I need a Thunderbolt USB C cable?

Any ideas on how I can get this to work? Appreciate any help

    Thank you
