Do I get to be annoyed when they won't run [natively] on Linux? :)

Quite a high chance they'll work through Wine, so I'll sign up either way.

I've been enjoying GOG since I got into the beta months ago. It's been going from strength to strength and the only thing it lacks is a wider selection of games, but that's expanding each week so I think it'll get there eventually.
If they could get their hands on System Shock 1/2, Baldur's Gate 1/2 & Planescape Torment, I think they'd improve on their already winning formula..

BASS is a classic, I think I got it in a package with the first Creative CD-ROM drive /Soundblaster soundcard I bought (along with Ultima: Pagan, Syndicate, Wing Commander II, Strike Commander, Star Wars: Rebel Assault, Theme Park & something else I can't quite remember what now).
I haven't tried Lure of the Temptress yet, but I think I'll have to give it a go.

You can play both Steel Sky and Lure on Linux using SCUMMVM. By bizarre coincidence I'm playing it currently on my Linux eepc at the moment.

You can get the files for SCUMMVM and I think Steel Sky and Lure from the SCUMMVM site.

SCUMMVM is available for almost every platform going.
