Netgear FS108. £67 inc VAT. 8 port, 10/100Mbps, Full duplex, uplink, etc. I have one, my dad has one. They work, as switches do. Very nice generally. Good price, and a well-known networking manufacturer.

I got a switch from Dabs; prompt delivery, good packaging no problems at all in fact.

My experiences with dabs have been very good. I've spent over £3000 with them, with two RMAs, and no problems. Some people I know have had enormous problems (although I suspect much is operator error).

    a good switch

If you are worried about cost then about 98% of most "decent switches" are out of the question. Therefore an alternative to netgear would be Linksys. You can order them online www.linksys.com or at www.jandr.com ...they have all kinds of goodies..hope it helps.
