Turned it on and it prompted, there's a button in settings to force a check for updates

 

Tried that still no update

Edit: just found a way round waiting to update was just a matter of stopping a programme. Just waiting for it to charge fully

Registered my nexus, but no confirmation / coupon email, sister got hers instantly!

 

Finally registered mine, but only got a discount code for 10% off..

For something that's selling we'll according to different places shocked to see it get a quiet significant price cut. £159 is nothing in money terms for the hardware it has.

 

Can anyone recommend a good app for streaming video over wifi from my nas box?

Google don't make a profit on the Nexus 7 any more with the price cut.

 

How long does the email take to come through to register for the offer - i.e. the email that asks for proof of purchase? I've had one come back with a link to confirm the email address I registered to log into the member site but that's been it so far.

It might also be a good time to seriously think about putting some more servers in as accessing the site was slow and when I got on there a nice message popped up saying there were problems with the high amount of traffic.
