Not gonna lie, I've always ASSUMED Chrome leeched information off even if you told it not to.
So, what browser should we use now? Vivaldi? Midori? Konqueror? Dillo?

Actually, if we assume Google's untrustworthy, we should also assume anything using Blink as the core is untrustworthy. So Konqueror or Dillo.
    ...
OR I GUESS FIREFOX. At least you won't get blocked by user-agent sniffers that way, but... on the other hand, you're using Firefox. UGH.

I you want Firefox, but without the past few years of.... Mozilla-yness... then you might want to take a look at Palemoon.

Or Waterfox, where old addons still work. :)

Mozilla really seems to have lost the plot recently. :(

    Yup.

Firefox has just been tinkering again so anything in the properties bookmark has just disappeared.

You have to export them to html now and trawl through to see any notes you (ie me) now.

Have to think about what browser now, was just thinking of going to fully switch to Chrome too :(

I have hated Firefox since it was called Moz/b. Every new release I tried was worse than what came before(and I'm probably among the few that at least briefly used a build of Moz/b and Firebird).
I moved from Mozilla-the-product to Seamonkey.

And Seamonkey's had no end of troubles as either Mozilla-the-company or the Firefox team has crapped on them repeatedly. I'm not convinced they're going to be here in another two or three years.
