News Gran Turismo 5 delayed again

Okay. I'm getting pissed now

 

I'm starting to ponder on the capabilities of polyphony.

Your either making a good game from the start, or your making a crap game, then constantly adding bits to try and improve it.

Do they keep starting over form scratch every time they find a bug or something? Or is it soo big that every time they compile it, it takes a month?

I've completely lost interest in it now. Was really excited when it was first announced, then just got more and more bored. Definitely won't be buying a PS3 this year.

When is the PS4 going to be released? Are polyphony now converting it for that or something.

 

Gran Turismo Forever.

 

I played this at eurogamer...

I cant express in words how disappointed I am with this game, I'm a massive GT fan, and have been looking forward to it for so long, and.. well.. i just don't know what to say....

Forza 3 seems better in every way, and don't get me started on that 3D crap....

 

tbh i knew it was never going to make the release date, it was just a hunch but with so many delays its become one of those games that i couldnt give a **** about until i can physically buy it.

After loving every other 'proper' GT game i cant help but feel this massive wait wont be worth it.

 

Is anyone really that surprised?

You mean its going to be in development for another 7 years and then released?

Anyway, this seriously does take the piss. My girlfriend bought this for me for Christmas last year when it was slated for release........

 

I bet its going to get delayed into 2011.

If this keeps getting delayed to the point that even Duke Nukem Forever comes out before, then that would just be the funniest thing to ever happen in this industry.

Aaahahahaha. I was pondering getting an Xbox 360 with Forza 3 or GT5 exactly one year ago.

Thankfully I went with Forza. I'm sure GT5 will be great, but the delays are beyond ridiculous now.

 

Don't own a ps3 so aint fussed. The games are basically the same with uprated graphics and new car models anyway. How will it be any better or worse then GT 3 A-spec? Short answer, it won't be.

 

Only with newer cars and hundreds of them, which is what a lot of folk want.

Personally I couldn't care if it's a revolution in driving games, I just want a pretty Gran Turismo game to come out this century. I wish they'd set a deadline and stick to it, instead of saying "Nov. 2nd" and bailing on us.

 

Grand Theft Auto 3 A-Spec?

Anyway, the physics will of course be better than a 9/10 year old game. And a game of the standard of Gran Turismo i.e not churned out year on year for a quick buck like Need for Speed, but a "when it's done" game that's made as good as it practically can be.

 

you I completely forgot about Grand Turismo, so many other good racing games have been coming out that I think they have pretty much lost their edge especially with all these delays. ~_~
