Graphics Graphics Card temperature goes 98C

    lol, that's exactly what happened previously with my UD-5 with the chappy who bought it off me. Can't knock Gigabyte for trying their luck first ;)

    Guys, just a quick update on my case.
    Gigabyte received my card and sent me back replacement.
    Mega fast response, I got new card and installed it - all works fine.
    I've been running FurMark test for 10 minutes now and temperature stays at 53C !!!
    This is brilliant! I'm in shock compared to my previous, faulty card - new one is so quiet and temp doesn't raise.

    Again, fantastic service from Gigabyte, they never let me down, their hardware is brilliant, service fantastic - just my 2p:D

    Another happy customer, case closed:)

    Awesome! Glad to hear how Gigabyte has super fast service and that you replacement card card perfectly now.

    yeah run a gigabyte 6970 with a stock 3 fan cooler and a gigabyte mb- thing is as you would say brilliant.. don't even hear the thing- and it's oc'd to hell.. probably kicks your 580s face up around the back of it's ass too :D
