Graphics Graphics drivers crashed?

Now, the waiting game. 28 days stuck on an old GTS450 with a broken fan controller that spins at 100% all the time, great.

I can imagine it sounds similar to living inside the engine of a flying Boeing 747...

 

Can you not turn it down with MSI Afterburner? Worth a shot if you haven't tried it.

 

Nope. It's a friends old card and I dare not touch it for fear of death. But he managed to break the old fan and it's controller so he wired a new fan straight to the 6pin

 

lol, MSI Afterburner definitely won't work then!
