Seen a few comments with the 980Ti soon to arrive that we should see a price drop on the 970s. Anyone care to hazard a guess as to what that might be?
Can't see it, 980 already dropped to £350. You can get a 970 for £270 in daily deals if not less if you look around. AMD launch something competitive might do something for price.
I checked last night was around £275 so they have gone down since then at work now so can't check here.
Black Friday, bought my EVGA 970 for £251, sold the game voucher for £21. Overall, I think £230 for 970 is quite a good deal
Can't see it myself. the 980 has only dropped because it was priced too closely to the 980ti. The 970 is still half the price, whilst still offering less, but still decent performance.
The 980 dropped yesterday on Scan - I checked as soon as the 980Ti review hit on SUnday night and the lowest priced 980 was £427. Yesterday, that dropped to £395. OCUK have them at £390
Or if you're slightly crafty and want to take advantage of the current Euro rate, you can order from Amazon Italy and pick up a PNY for €323, under £240 . Unfortunately the other manufacturer cards are FAR more expensive! http://www.amazon.it/Palit-GTX-970-..._9?ie=UTF8&qid=1433440546&sr=8-9&keywords=970
