    Hi, just bought my mum the £199 system from ebuyer - I couldn't build one cheaper. It's a very basic system based on an H61 mobo - won't know exactly which one until it turns up.

    Anyway, I've decided to upgrade this basic system with a 120gb SSD - just because.

    However, one thing I'm worried about - I don't know if the H61 chipset supports either AHCI or TRIM - anyone know ?

    yes it does , its under SATA config;

    now if your adding the SSD you`ll want to flip the AHCI switch in windows first

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922976

    follow that link and download the hotfix

    run it and when finished , restart windows and then enable AHCI in bios.

    if installing fresh then just enable AHCI first then go for windows
