Try pulling those off in an Onyx ranked game, they become true feats indeed. I've actually come to really like their presence, the moves are damn hard to pull of effectively in arena. Not only that, but they're not insta-kills anyway. Spartan charge against a fully shielded opponent won't do that, an Ground Pound has to be above a certain height before it will do enough damage. Both moves leave you vulnerable afterwards so they can be countered.
