Options, network, turn off relays as it buggers up wait times.
For me the only Halo game that's really stayed the same play wise is ODST.
Reach was good, at the time, and I am still enjoying it now, but it's .. A lot more "meh" than I remember. Perhaps because I still know when and who goes where.
Still, as a PC port my only complaint is the achievements don't seem to earn right on Steam. I got the deluge of achievements I've had from the Xbox MCC, but I'm seemingly unable to earn any in Reach.
Did you disable anti cheat when launching the game? Cause that disables chievos as well.
Nope, I launched in full fat anti-cheat mode with all the trimmings.
Prob gonna be stuck then until they release a patch (at least there is a chance of that actually happening since they will want to look good when charging money for the next five lol).
Yeah. I'm not that fussed, it's going to take me a month of Sundays to get through on legendary anyway.
It’s nice to be able to pull-off pinpoint sniper shots with east.
snipers shoot the east?
Played halfway through the campaign with a friend on Saturday. I really forgot how much of a bullet sponge most enemies are - and we only played on Heroic difficulty. I also remember the sounds to be... fuller? More cinematic?
Still, we had a blast. A trip down Nostalgia Lane for less than a tenner? Yes please!
My personal dream would be a co-op Doom game. Or rather a co-op game with the gameplay of Doom 2016.
The sound thing is a known issue apparently.
The bullet sponge thing.. Try the skulls that increase enemy health and upgrade the ranks. That's even worse. Hundreds and hundreds of rounds to kill Elites.
Edit: After some thought, I turned my PiHole off for my PC, and suddenly got achievements. I did a quick search on the Pihole subreddit and the following domains need whitelisting:
The Master Chief Collection is one of the big draws to me building a new PC - There will be weekends put aside for co-op time and reminiscing.
