    Well it sure is a good thing this is the year 2000. Gonna be a lot easier to figure this out now than if you wait until 2018.

    Why does £500 million sound like something these companies and the government would find down the back of the sofa?

    Because it is, they magically found another £1 bn for the MOD/MI5/MI6 to snoop on internet traffic!
