yay now manufacturers cant charge us $30 for a rounded cable

 

serial ATA is gonna rock, its romoured to b released 4Q this yr. The reason y the cables are so small is that only 4 wires only exhist in the sleeve instead of the usal 40/80 of IDE.

They are tiny.
Yeah I heard there were some Motherboards coming out with it already but I am not sure....

 

I think it's about time I got together my article on the facts about SATA, and clear up the hype.

I'll throw in a little about what's going on with SCSI, USB2.0 and firewire too, just for the craic

Did anyone else notice that this was written on February 16th, 2000, and that they say that this technology was to be available in mid 2001? Where is it?
