Electronics HDD Activity LED

    I've searched, but my search-fu is weak. How do i wire up a LED so that when the HDD is working, it lights up. I think i saw something about soldering a LED to one of the IDE pins and the +5V lead. Does anyone have a howto?

    Don't you have a mobo header that does just that? Or are you looking for independent harddrive indicators? I think zapwizard did a tutorial on that somewhere.... Leme have a look.
