    Is there any NOTICABLE difference between a 7200 RPM drive with 2mb buffer and a 7200 RPM drive with 8mb? If so where is the diff noticed?

    i think theres is a difference...loading times and general response of the system...thats if you install your system onto it...

    8mb IS faster than 2mb, not a massive ammount but its there... worth getting 8mb if you can, not a massive amount more money either.....
