Hello, i have recently bought an SSD, which is now the boot drive, and have finally found another SATA cable to plug back in my older 1TB HDD. I have got all the apps and games saves and everything else off it now.

My question is how should i format the 1TB drive, so it can be a media drive? Go into windows and right click, format HDD, or use the windows 7 installation disk.

One other thing is what unit allocation size should i use 4096K?

    Thanks, Richard:)

just right click and format using the quick option and leave everything as default no need to change anything.
